A Moment of Peace

primroseLife can be pretty hectic.  We've got to be here, there and everywhere, and some days it would be great to have a clone.  Clone Bill could go do the work while I went to the movies :)

But to counter that hectic lifestyle is one of the reasons we own the home we do.  We're out in the country with over 3 acres of mostly woods.  There's a serenity that comes with that.  No close neighbors, so if there's a dog barking, it's one of our own Chihuahuas.

There are a fair number of critters that cross our paths.  Deer are plentiful.  There's a mama raccoon and her babies (and those little ones can make a LOT of noise).  Every now and then we'll see wild turkeys.  There is a next of baby hawks close enough for us to hear their cries.  Chipmunks cross the driveway by the little creek that goes under our driveway (okay, most of the time that creek is just a glorified ditch with a trickle of water!).

During the winter when our bird feeders are stocked, we get dozens of different types of birds paying us a visit.  A little extra color while we wait for the return of Spring and our flowers.

And flowers, of those we have plenty.  We've got plenty of flower beds surrounding our home, and each week late Winter until the next Winter's chill returns, we get gifts.  Little surprises, burst of color, intricate beyond description, just waiting for us to find them for that moment of peace.

It's something we couldn't have if we rented a home or apartment.  So while there's work involved in keeping everything just so, those moments of peace make it all worthwhile.

Need help with finding your own home and your own moments of peace?  Give us a call at 513-520-5305 or email Liz@LizSpear.com.  We look forward to hearing from you!

You Can't Fix It Yourself Says The Buyer
My home has some things wrong with it, just like basically every home ever built. If I wanted to sell soon, I'd have to take care of some minor things here and there. An electrical junction box in the basement that needs a new cover, some touch… more
