The Needle Stung Slightly

He leaned back as he felt the needle stick slightly as it slid under the skin of his left arm.  How long would it take this time?  It was that same old feeling he'd felt MANY times before, going back to high school, through college and following him through his professional life.  But this habit, it didn't keep him from being successful.  Most people wouldn't have known he had this habit he couldn't quit.  Every couple of months, it would call him back and he couldn't resist!

STOP!!  This isn't what you think!  Your Realtor isn't some hopped up crackhead selling houses to support his habit!  Instead, he's a regular blood donor and has been for almost 30 years.  No idea how many gallons have been given over the years, a pint at a time, but it's a great feeling to help so many people!

In the Cincinnati area, contact Hoxworth Blood Centers.  Visit www.Hoxworth.org to find a local blood donation center and set an appointment.  Outside of our local area, contact your local hospital and they should be able to point you in the right direction!

The donation process is relatively quick, typically well under an hour including the paperwork.  AND it's pretty much pain free, and probably no more than 15 minutes in the chaise lounge giving blood.  Can you save a life today?  It's good for you, and it's good for them!

Giving blood is just one of many ways The Liz Spear Team gives back to our community.

Hope you have a fantastic day!
