Some People Just Like For Us To Make Them Homeless!
One of the cool things about being a REALTOR® is the long term relationships you build with some clients. Now some leave town and you rarely hear from them, others stick around and we become the family agents! Now we go back a ways with Cathy and Steve! We sold a home for them in 2005, her parents buy a lot for new construction in 2006, and when Cathy and Steve were ready to be homeless again, they called us for another round!
Like many homes sales in our area, if dollar return means more than time on market, this one wasn't a quick sale! 
10730 Dallasburg Rd in Hamilton Township attracted plenty of attention! Steve and Cathy had built a VERY roomy home....to borrow a quote, with a GINORMOUS master bedroom and GINORMOUS finished lower level. Couple that with a couple of acres, a screened in back porch and quite a few other features and it was a pleasure to market!
And we got offers, not just lookers. But in this case, Steve and Cathy didn't have to settle for just any offer, so despite attempts to get low offers up to an acceptable price, it just wasn't meant to be. Finally at offer #5, we got buyers who appreciated the value of the home and came up to
a price that our sellers could come down to! We closed yesterday evening, and turns out Mr. Buyer has been riding his motorcycle down this country road and hoping to someday live in one of the custom homes on this stretch of road. The peace and quiet are now his and his wife's, and now it's time for us to put our buyer's agents hats on and help Cathy and Steve find a new home!
And if they want us to make them homeless again some years down the road, we'll be ready for them :)
