Warren County Ohio Real Estate News and Observations

More Than Just Real Estate

honeycomb

If you search for us online, you're going to find out a lot about us from a real estate perspective.  You'll find serious information about Cincinnati patio homes, communities we provide service to, and much more.

What might not be so apparent is that there's more to us than just real estate.

We long ago passed the limit for "crazy cat people"!  And we're equal opportunity, with four Chihuahuas too.  Two of our pets are certified pet therapy animals, and Liz frequently volunteers at the local hospice, VA hospital, senior center and more (mostly with Bunny Chihuahua, but occasionally with Swayze the cat.

We flower garden extensively, so from late winter until the start of the following winter, we always have something blooming.

And fairly recently (last year) we become hobby beekeepers after capturing a wild swarm from a tree next to our home.  We're now up to 3 hives and hope to expand further.  This week we had the good fortune to harvest our first honey (our main hive honeybees have been VERY busy and produced more than they need!).  We shifted four frames to our new 3rd hive as part of a split, and that left us 6 full frames of honey to harvest.  We've got some more work to do.  We've collected the honey, next up is further straining and then putting the raw honey in jars.  It's an interesting hobby, and peaceful to watch our bees work!

And when I can, I watch some sports.  So...back to the Stanley Cup playoffs.  Let's Go CAPS!!! :)
