Flower Blooms And Houses For Sale

flowers and beesI enjoy seeing our flowers bloom and our honeybees at work.  Now I don't always have the time I'd like to tend to our flower gardens, but that's part of the price of being a real estate agent.  When other people have the weekend off to plant, weed, mulch, prune and do all that's necessary to keep a garden at optimum, I'm probably showing houses!

But I make a point of wandering through our garden as I can, take some pictures of what I find and share on my Facebook wall. And one thing I've learned is things change fast in our garden.  Some flowers keep blooming week after week after week.  I love knowing they're out there waiting!

Other flowers?  Literally just a few days to enjoy them, and then they're done for the season.

Some flowers get an early start, with crocus and snowdrops not waiting for Winter to totally go away.  Others wait for later in the season, until they know it's warm, even hot, before they join the rest of the garden in blooming!

Each has a season and a predictability.

And there are some parallels between our flowers and homes for sale.

Some houses come and go very quickly!  Priced right, in the best neighborhoods, those homes you just can't wait on.  You delay seeing them and you're just going to have to wait for the next ones to come along.

Some sellers don't mind starting earlier than the bulk of their competition, out on the market before the last snowfall.  Other sellers?  They'd rather wait until the Spring blitz is on!

Having worked as an agent for years and years, I've gotten to know what to expect.  Which homes SHOULD move quickly and which ones will PROBABLY stick around for a bit (that PRICE??? whoooa....I don't like those odds).

While you might not care if your agent knows flowers, you want one that KNOWS the local real estate market.  That's what I'm here for.  Give us a call at 513-520-5305 or email Liz@LizSpear.com.  We look forward to hearing from you!
