Cincinnati Fourth of July Events:  Red White & Blue Ash July 4 2014

You can bet Blue Ash wants you to want to love their annual Red White and Blue Ash July 4th celebration!  This year featuring Cheap Trick and 30 minutes of Rozzi's Famous Fireworks!

It's a FREE event and one of the biggest in the Cincinnati area for the July 4th weekend!

The venue is Blue Ash Summit Park (the old Blue Ash Airport).

The excitement starts at 4 p.m. with plenty of food and drink available for purchase during the afternoon and evening!

And at 5:30 p.m. Midnight Special hits the main stage to rock out with your favorite 70's and 80's tunes!

And at 8:15 p.m. Cheap Trick takes the stage (ahhh...memories....they performed at Annapolis when I was a midshipman!).  You can bet they'll be playing all your favorites!

To make the event more enjoyable, Blue Ash is making parking easy with a shuttle service running from 4 p.m. to midnight from two locations:

  • Blue Ash Municipal Center (4343 Cooper Rd)
  • UC Blue Ash (9555 Plainfield Rd)
  • Fyi, the shuttle buses are NOT handicapped accessible, but there is handicapped designated parking at Thomas More College on McKinley.  Permit required.

As far as event rules, some things you need to know:  No PERSONAL fireworks, NO hard sided coolers but soft sided coolers are okay, NO glass containers, NO alcohol (this is a FAMILY event) and NO RVs in the parking lot (they'll get towed).  Event Staff reserves the right to inspect bags, coolers, backpacks, etc.

And no pirating the performers, so no video, pictures or audio recording.  Easily a fair trade for the day's FREE entertainment!

So if you want to catch some tunes & watch some fireworks, the Red White & Blue Ash Celebration is the place to be July 4th!
