Cincinnati's Summerfair Returns May 31- June 2, 2013
You can't beat Cincinnati's Summerfair for unique arts/crafts to decorate your home or for one of a kind gifts! You might think early June is early to start your Christmas gift shopping, but not when Cincinnati's Summerfair is available to you May 31 to June 2! This year's edition of Summerfair at Coney Island is the 46th, so you know they're doing it right! 
Summerfair continues to pack out the Coney Island display area with over 300 artists and craftspeople bringing their "A" game. You'll find local artists and artists from all across the U.S. and Canada, and working in basically any media you want: photography, woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, painting, jewelry, it's all there and MUCH more!
And costs? If varies from just a few dollars to literally into the thousands of dollars depending on the complexity! Some of the stained glass art we saw last year was just amazing! And in addition to the displays, there will be plenty of live entertainment and a kid's craft area too!? There's just no reason not to enjoy this event down next to the Ohio River!
Tickets are $10/adult (CASH only), children 12 and under are free, or go online and buy a 3 day ticket for $15. Hours are 2-8 pm Friday, 10-8 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. Parking is included. As always, they'll have commemorative posters available for sale, along with food and drink. Event is held rain or shine, but we're obviously hoping for plenty of shine, so don't forget your sunblock! No pets other than registered service dogs! Proceeds help fund various arts related activities throughout the year.
