December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing: Benefit for St. Joseph Orphanage
Kudo's to Maineville's O'Neil's Tavern for stepping up to the plate and making sure one group won't get overlooked this Christmas! This Saturday December 10th from 2 p.m. to closing time, they're holding a benefit for Mt. Airy's St. Joseph Orphanage. $10 or equivalent value unwrapped toy and you're in!
The day's activities include Led Zeppelin, GNR and Ozzy tribute bands, the local all girl group Rock Candy, stand up comedy, food, raffles and door prizes! Not bad for a $10 donation to a good cause!
Now what does St. Joseph Orphanage do? They provide education and mental health services to 200 kids ages 4-14 between their Mt. Airy and Anderson campuses. They also provide counseling, foster care, group therapy and more for another 700 children! So sound like a worthy charity for $10 of your money, and maybe a bit more? They've been helping kids since 1829!
