We're happy to announce the successful sale of 5009 Kilkerry in Middletown Ohio yesterday. Our sellers can start the next chapter in their lives, and the buyers are looking forward to calling this home THEIR home! In a mature neighborhood with a spacious, open floor plan and an above ground pool for those upcoming hot months (hard to believe when it's in the 20's this morning....but those days will be here soon!).
The buyers and their agent displayed great patience and understanding, as this sale was a short sale, with the offer originally being accepted by the sellers last fall. As you've probably heard, there are few things SHORT about a short sale, and even with our real estate attorney moving the negotiations along as rapidly as possible, we definitely got the feeling the bank was a bit unsteady on their own requirements, with delays regarding valuations, and then a counter $40k above the offer! We appealed the pricing, and won! No small feat in itself according to the bank's rep!
It took teamwork from all parties to keep this sale on track, so congratulations to everyone involved!
