You Can Choose To Go It Alone

Picking the best lot is part of the processLet's say you've got a task to do.

It's not something you do often, or maybe even never before.

You know there's information out there about how to do this task, but you can't be totally sure how good the information is.

There's differing opinions out there, some swearing you don't need any help at all and you can save major bucks if you skip the help.

Others will vouch for how important that help can be, especially if things start to get a bit sideways.

And here's the thing about this choice, it's one you have to make early.

You either choose to go solo, or you can choose to have help from someone experienced in the task.

There's no going solo and then bringing in help later because that's against the rules of the game.

The game?  It's a pretty serious game: choosing to build a home.

And here's the thing, if you're going to build, you have to make the choice to have help BEFORE you walk into your first model home.

You cross that threshold without an agent, you're locked in to the process as your own representative.  You've chosen to bypass the option of having a builder foot the bill for a buyer's agent to guide you through the process.  Builders can be very firm about requiring the agent to be present from the start, and why wouldn't they?  No agent, the builder gets to pocket a bit extra to their profit margin. 

And if something goes wrong, are you going to know what "normal" is?  The options you have?  All the stress of dealing with any issues is solely on you if you didn't engage an agent to help from the start.

It's something I do regularly, help guide buyers through the new construction process.  My interests are SOLELY to you and not to the builder.

Unfortunately, many buyers don't have any idea they would be better off having a buyer agent at their side when they go to look at that model home. Good wake-up call to them that they really need to call a buyer's agent first!
